I have had to attend the Colposcopy clinic on a number of occasions as I had had a bad smear, subsequently a Lletz procedure. The staff were amazing, held my hand and explained everything to me along the way. There was a big screen where you can view everything and the gynaecologist was very gentle, patient, explained things well and put my very anxious nerves at ease. I was a bit tearful after and they made me some tea and were v sweet. I did not expect to get upset but was blown away by how they far exceeded my expectations of care. Normally I attend as a private patient and have flown back to Ireland to attend medical appointments there asI do not live here long. All in all an excellent service.
