I came in for a dating and nuchal scan. The ultrasound department were fantastic, however the reception staff and waiting time was completely unacceptable in the Bancroft clinic. I gave my blood form to the reception staff and asked how long I would have to wait, they said they didn't know. After an hour I went and asked again and pointed out that there should be a waiting time up, to set realistic expectations, they said if I didn't like it I could take it to the phlebotomy department, if they had given me this option on arrival I would have gone , but after already waiting over an hour I didn't see the point. They were really unhelpful. It took 2 hours of waiting in total just to have blood taken is ridiculous and not acceptable.
