"Looked after Mum very well"

About: Russells Hall Hospital

Anything else?

My mum was in hospital for 3 weeks - she is 90 and I was very concerned. As a family we have been very lucky and have had no experience of hospitals so we didn't know what to expect - especially when you listen to the news. I need not have worried at all, the staff were charming and efficient, the hospital was clean (my mum walked around in pale pink socks - and they didn't get dirty|) and I can't praise the hospital enough for everything. Everyone knew what was going on - very organised everywhere. We had the occasion to use A&E too - and you do have to sit and wait if they are busy - but they do see urgent cases first and again the staff were lovely.

Response from Russells Hall Hospital

Thank you for taking time to give us feedback about the care at our hospital. We know how traumatic it can be when an elderly relative is taken ill, so it is wonderful to hear that you were put at ease by the efficiency of our staff. I’m sure the team who cared for your mother will be very pleased to receive your lovely comments.
