I cannot fault the treatment and care that I received. I initially arrived at PRUH for an kidney scan,upon examination they found out that my baby was in distress. Long story short I was rushed to another dept. where I was attached to a monitor. A quick decision was made and I had to have an emergency c-section. All the staff were amazing and very patient with me as you can imagine I was in a bit of a state. My daughter was delivered safely and swiftly weighing 5lb. The umbilical cord was wrapped tightly around her neck if it was not for the swiftness of all who were involved,the result could have been completely different. I have so much to be thankful for. My after care treatment again was amazing. I had to stay in hospital for 5 days. The midwives (day/night staff) were attentive and patient with me at all times. I cannot thank them enough.
