"Good Communication"

About: Charing Cross Hospital

Anything else?

Went for follow up to an MRI scan on spine. Whilst there was a delay of around 45 mins -1 hour for appointments one of the nurses made the effort to keep everyone informed about delays and where they were in the queue. Simple, effective, and "calming" yet how infrequently public organisations do it. Well done for thinking of the patient rather than the system. I hope it is something that becomes embedded.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust appreciates your feedback following your Neurology appointment at Charing Cross. Whilst we are sorry about the delays thank you for your kind appreciation of the importance of keeping patients informed. We are certainly seeking to ensure that this happens across all our departments. We will ensure your comments are passed back to the nurses in out patients.
