"Blood test at the William Harvey"

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford)

Anything else?

I have recently transferred back to my home in Kent and had to have a blood test. I have been having a number of blood tests recently at UCLH in London. I opted to have the blood test at the hospital as surgery nurses sometimes find it difficult to take blood from me.

I waited for 1 hour to have the blood test and the procedure was rather painful which I was not expecting as usually full times nurses in this area are very proficient.

This is compared with UCLH where the process never took more than 10-15 mins and was always completed pain free. I feel that if one hospital can attain this standard then it is worth me letting you know to try and improve the service offered at the William Harvey.

Thanks
