We have twice had to use the Minor Injuries Clinic - the first time we were seen within 15 minutes but unfortunately had to be referred to Scunthorpe General Hospital A&E because my husband had torn a ligament and needed to have a pot put on. We then spent 5 hours waiting to be seen at SGH!
The second time my husband had a very deep cut to the ball of his thumb (clumsy DIY) which wouldn't stop bleeding. We again pitched up at the Minor Injuries Clinic, was seen within a few minutes by an extremely friendly and competent nurse, my husband was bandaged up and we were on our way within half an hour.
The staff were efficient, friendly and speedy! We received an exceptional service from exceptional people - a glowing tribute to the ethos of the NHS!
