"Shocking treatment"

My mother was taken into a and e on Monday with a hip dislocation, she did not have her hip put back until 3pm on Tuesday!!! This is outrageous to leave her 22 hours in this much pain and discomfort. The pathetic excuse for not putting it back that evening was that there were not enough staff on if something went wrong. Now excuse my ignorance but, as she was not being surgically opened up and was just having it pulled back into place whilst under, I really don't see the problem!! Instead she was left in excruciating pain and was pumped with morphine for 22 hours instead!!! This is not acceptable treatment of a woman who has worked all her life and paid her taxes, this is not acceptable even if she hadn't, we would not let an animal suffer this kind of indignity and pain so why is it ok to do this to my mother, a mere human being! I am disgusted with this hospital!
