"Shocking experience"

After my visit to this A&E, i am shocked at how badly this hospital has become. After being made to wait over an hour for Triage and then another hour to see a doctor to then be made to wait another hour before sending me for an xray, im suprised patients even waste thier time in this place.

The triage nurse was a waste of time. They looked bored aand showed little interest. My "nurse" was appalling. They were rude and seem to prefer having a conversation with their colleague than actually seeing patients.

We waited over an hour in xray, however the person working in xray was a credit to your hospital, as with even all the harassment they were receiving from patients demanding to be seen and with very aggressive relatives shouting, they remained composed and professional. I find it hard to believe that from 7.30pm you only have one member of staff taking over from two staff members, working in this department with the hospital being as busy as it.

My Dr in A&E was also a credit. They were very thorough and attentive and reassuring. Alothough the visit to this hospital was dragged out unneccessarily they did their best to make me feel that i was important and that they would find out what was wrong. I can not fault them for this.

I think with this re-vamp you are trying for the hospital to drag it out of the gutter you should re-evaluate your staff and as it is those that are giving you the bad reputation.
