"NHS non smoking cinics FAILURE service (Park Surgery)"

After 5 weeks of joining the no smoking clinic at my doctors I have been smoke free for 17 days. I did not smoke tobacco but a high amount of cannabis (30-40) joints a day.

On my last appointment (yesterday) the nurse could not give me my repeat prescription of my tablets as the doctor had not yet signed it. I was told to ring later that day. I phoned twice yesterday to see if my prescription was ready for collection. On the second call the receptionist was very angry and told me not to call back. They would call me. I did not receive a call. I had no medication today.

By late afternoon I am extremely irritable! I have been to my surgery not long ago and have found out it is closed. I called nhs direct, the online service, two local pharmacies, Worthing Hospital and A&E, and two local drug clinics. Nobody can give me my repeat prescription but my doctor! - who is not there.

By the end of this process which has cost me time and money I still have no medication. Being frustrated I have also had fall outs with friends and a family member. I think this is disgusting! I have attended all of my appointments, paid for all my prescriptions and followed all advice given to me. I have also lapsed as I am smoking a spliff right now. (No im not proud of myself at all) but for the safety of anyone who wants to look/talk to me in the wrong manner I actually cannot help it.

I am a drug addict. I was a recovering drug addict, but despite all my efforts (which most people would not bother with) I have been failed by the National Health Service! ! It would be no different if I was a heroin user who could not get their methadone. Im not going back to my clinic as it's a waste of time and money. The NHS IS a FAILURE! ! !
