What I liked

The staff on Ocelot Ward are fab. Nothing is a problem to them!!!! I have had unfortunate medical problems that resulted in me being on Ocelot three times in the past year. Once for a TAH, urinary tract infection and the last time for a salpingo-oophorectomy and division of adhesions. On all occasions the staff were fantastic in making my husband feel comfortable; twice whilst waiting for me to come from surgery during the day, and the third time when I was admitted after midnight. I cannot fault the professionalism and dedication that was given throughout all treatments. Thank you so much!!!!!

What could be improved

Cold water especially in the summer months. I was lucky during my second admission, my nurse went to the delivery unit and got some ice. I only found this out once my fever had broken and I was more lucid.

Fans or air-conditioning in the room. The air does not circulate as a result of the windows only being open about 7cm.
