"Excellent and professional treatment in Stafford A&E"

About: Stafford Hospital / Accident and emergency West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust

(as a parent/guardian),

During one evening last week our son was deliberately run over by the driver of a vehicle in Stafford. Following the excellent on scene treatment by paramedics, our son was transferred to Stafford A&E department. On arrival he was treated with the utmost compassion and courtesy. The Doctors, Nurses and X-Ray dept staff behaved towards our son with the epitome of professionalism and administered his treatment in a timely and caring manner.

Thankfully the injuries which he sustained were not as serious as first feared, but he was treated in a manner consistent with serious injuries until such time it became apparent this was not the case.

Would you please pass on our most sincere thanks and gratitude to all members of staff who cared for our son

Many thanks

Dear "bazaman"

Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. I appreciate that this must have been an exceptionally worrying time for you and I am delighted to hear that your son did not come to any serious harm. I will feed back your thanks to the staff in A&E and X-ray who I know will be thrilled that you were happy with the care your son received

Kind Regards
