Anything else?
I can't praise enough everyone I came in contact with : reception / /the consultants in Chester and at the hospital/the expert team administering my treatment / the WRVS staff in their two cafes / the cleaners who were finishing their early shift when I had a particularly early appointment.
When diagnosed I was absolutely shattered and very apprehensive about having to face 6 1/2 weeks daily treatment.
The friendly welcome when I first visited to discuss everything was very reassuring and
my initial fears were soon overcome when the treatment started.each day the receptionist would welcome me with a smile and a comment [my case No ended in '007']The staff were not just polite and efficient ,but chatty and friendly, and we soon established a pleasant rapport that made the experience so much more bearable. being in an environment that exuded such positivity was extremely helpful to me.Even the most junior of them had this attitude.Everyone ,other patients as well as medical staff, all
seemed to share this. My impression was that the place was doing everything possible to make sure that my treatment was as efficiently administered as possible.
It seemed to me to be a well run and ,as far as a patient can tell,a happy hospital.
I am very grateful for the treatment I received.
