About: Watford General Hospital

Anything else?

I have recently been in Watford General for a radical Ivor-Lewis operation.

The care, treatment, and skills were wonderful. All the Doctors, Nurses, Matron

and housekeeping staff were so kind ,helpful and made a very difficult time a lot easier and less stressful. Not forgetting the wonderful specialist nurses and medical

team in the ICU. Thank you all so very much.

Response from Watford General Hospital

Thanks for adding your kind words of your recent experience at Watford General with us. We're delighted to hear that your whole hospital stay was just as you would have hoped, particularly when facing such a radical operation! The staff value giving a personal, professional and caring service, and its great to hear the Langley Ward team recognised in this way. We will, of course, pass on your kind comments to the team. In the meantime, if you would be willing to nominate a particular member of staff or the team for our staff awards scheme for excellence, please do have a look at our awards page: http://www.westhertshospitals.nhs.uk/about/staffawards/default.asp
