Having just spent one week in Charing Cross Hospital I can say from first hand experience how impressed I was with the care taken over me whilst on Ward 9N.

I watched and listened to the doctors doing their rounds, at all times of the day they were respectful and caring and gave a lot of time to explain treatment and put patients at their ease.

The nurses were wonderful I watched in awe as they tended nervous and sick patients, even all through the night, I shall never be afraid of going into hospital especially if I go to Charing Cross.

The food was perfect and lots of choices, beautifully presented and a menu that would suit all cultural groups.

I haven't been in hospital for 20 years and so I was surprised. So many people seem to complain about the NHS but I have absolutely nothing negative to say and was very impressed.
