Anything else?
I agree wholeheartedly with the previous comments by M Taylor, I too went in for a Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal) on the 28th April and can’t praise the staff enough.
From my first consultation, to my operation and aftercare I was treated with respect and in a very caring way by every member of staff I came into contact with. Everything was explained in detail and all my questions were answered which put my mind at rest.
As this was my first operation and general anaesthetic I was a bit apprehensive but after a visit on the ward before the operation, by the anaesthetist, who explained everything that would be taking place, I knew I was in good hands.
I was on three wards, F6 admission, F5 aftercare and E4 for an overnight stay, and I received the same professional care in each of them.
The Royal Bolton has received some bad press recently but there are definitely no complaints from me and hope my experience will help others who are waiting for an operation or treatment.
Thank you to everyone involved in my operation and keep up the good, caring work.
