I decided to go to the accident and emergency services after work due to a swelling on most of my leg. The pain was unbearable and I couldn't walk properly. Any pressure put on my right left, the pain would just shoot right up. When I met the nurse, the first thing she asked me was why I didn't go to the hospital closer to me. I said because this hospital was closer for me at work.
Once she checked my leg, she told me I had to take paracetamols and I'll be fine. She said it was 'nothing', If it was nothing then why is my leg all swollen up? I didn't understand this at all. I was already taking paracetamols to relieve the pain. I asked her again to reassure myself. She then said to me "patients come into the accident and emergency services if it is life threatening. Your's isn't the case." I ignored her.
Before I left the room she said to me to "you can stop limping now". I ignored her again. This happened in march. And now its May and the same problem has come up again. Maybe she was having a bad day but i swear I'm not going back there anymore,
