My mother was admitted under the care of the gastroenterologists just over a year ago and sadly died about 7 weeks later having spent all but 3 days of that time in the RUH. I had many contacts with the medical secretaries who answered the phone, or responded to answer phone messages, quickly and did what they said they would do. Their phone manner was perfect. My father has recently been referred to the Urologists; I have phoned the Urology secretaries once and had the same experience.
