GP referred me to Endoscopy for tests due to stomach problems.
I go my initial assessment appointment within 10 days. This was as pleasant an experience as could be expected, the staff were all friendly and I only waited about 10 minutes after my appointment time.
I was then referred for a colonoscopy. My appointment came through within a week and I was seen a further four days after that.
I was made very welcome and comfortable by the staff. The test was explained in easily explained terms by a very pleasant young lady who managed to interject some humour. I went in for my test almost immediately after arriving.
The test itself was fairly unpleasant, but was made better by the staff explaining each step. All complete within half an hour and followed by tea and biscuits whilst I recovered and awaited my lift home.
A very well earned 11 out of 10 for the Endoscopy Unit. Thank you very much.
