We really appreciated the caring and calming environment on Tilgate Ward. My stepfather was dying and he was very well cared for, with dignity and professionalism. As his family, we were also treated with respect and kindness. All the staff, from the consultant to the cleaners, were very friendly and made a sad time much easier to bear. My Mum is a retired nursing sister, and has a great deal of experience of nursing care, hospitals etc. She was very impressed, which is a huge compliment.
