My son had a shoulder operation in April 2013. I cannot praise this department enough. I was told there was 40 operations happening on this day (Saturday) and everything seem to be so relaxing I could not believe this. My son is physically unwell (temporal lobe epilepsy due to a brain tumour) so we were advised that he should stay overnight. I was with him the whole time in the PACU ward which is the aftercare ward after the operation. The staff were absolutely fantastic, caring, letting us know everything about the operation and also after the operation the anaethesist and doctor who carried out the surgery came in the ward to see my son, amazing. As for cleanliness I would give 10/10, extremely clean. What more can I say except for a great big thank you to all the staff who looked after my son. Everybody in the ward was saying that it was the best hospital they had every been in (EOC). I would definitely recommend this to anybody. Fantastic.
