"Help from 111 for mum's finger"

About: Harmoni / NHS 111 Northwick Park Hospital / Vascular surgery

(as a relative),

We went to hospital 3 times before calling 111, and they did nothing about my mum's finger that was blue and no blood was getting to it and it was cold.

When we called 111 they helped a lot. They gave me advice on what to do and booked me an appointment to my local hospital.

When we got there Harmoni's doctor looked and understood what had happened and as a result he transferred us to Northwick Park, and they kept me mum there for 1 week and my mum's finger is now much better.

I am sorry to hear about your mothers experiences prior to contacting NHS111 and glad that once calling NHS111 her healthcare needs were met. I am glad that she is feeling much better.
