"Excellent care at Kettering General Hospital"

I was sent by the GP to the Accident and Emergency Department with a terrific headache, chest pains and pins and needles in arms. The department was overflowing with patients and have to say many of them could have been seen by a GP An administrator came out and ask patients if they could go to another hospital, not so far away as there were no waiting times or see a GP. The response was negligable overheard patients saying they would rather wait and see the docters in this unit, I was seen within 30minutes and many tests were carried out, I was put on to an assessment ward and had various tests carried out and then transferred to the Cardiac Care Unit. I spent a week in this hospital and it was found I had had a heart attack and a stent was inserted. From entering this hospital right through to discharge the care and efficiency of the staff was second to none. From housekeeping services through to specialists great care and attention was given to me and I cannot thank the staff enough for their friendliness and especially their efficiency and expertise in my case.
