"Excellent support in obtaining a diagnosis"

I didn't receive the information I was expecting for a consultation at south Bristol community hospital, as I await diagnosis for a suspected condition.

The receptionist at my GP surgery (Hope House) took down all the information I had and followed up, ringing around different departments of the local hospital to get the details I needed to make the most of the appointment. She also checked in with my GP again to make sure that the care I was going to recieve was in line with the GP's referral plans. She rang me back several times to let me know her progress, and called me the day after my appintment to check it had gone ok.

I thought her efforts, and the care and compassion she showed on the phone, were fantastic - her professional tenacity in getting the information I needed soothed my concerns and made me feel like I was in safe hands again.
