"I just my message and forgot the ..."

About: William Harvey Hospital (Ashford)

(as the patient),

What I liked

I just my message and forgot the date it happend on. The date was 23rd May 2008 my babby was born and I went to AE.

What could be improved

The Chaplin should have been contacted as I had spoken with her on the Wednesday and she was more than happy to see me. The medical staff didn't seem to believe me when I said that the placenta was still inside. I could have had the operation at midnight but was told by another doctor, to let nature take it's course. Which was not going to happen as 12hrs had already passed. i was still bleeding and was given an injection to stop the bleeding. It made no difference. I was glad that i had the baby at my mothers as I could have had it in the waiting room of AE.

Staff need to take patients more seriously or not make promises they know they can't keep. This may not be the staffs fault as too much pressure is put on them. Why are more hospitals closing in the area?
