Anything else?
I am not normally the one needing Care, usually the Carer. So finding the tables turned wasn't fun. However, from the moment the paramedics turned up in the Ambulance, I started to feel as though I was in safe hands.
The Staff in A&E were wonderful, making me feel as much at ease as possible. Keeping me well informed as to what was happening and what to expect . The whole tone being light and friendly, the staff banter being extended to me and my husband. Nothing was too much trouble, and I was never made to feel awkward at all.
Unfortunately I waskept in overnight, needing a CT scan, to check what little brain there is in there! Again, all was explained to put me at my ease. Eventually I was transferred to Bulphan ward where, at 3.30 in the morning, I was greeted by a nurse saying Welcome Caroline.
Fortunately I didn't have to stay more than the one night, But would feel confident of good care should I need to go in again. Thank You Everyone.
