I have had to visit hospital twice recently, firstly for a Retinal Photography check in the new building where I was seen very quickly and was impressed with the ambience of the department. Today I had to call at the Call in clinic in Audiology and was again seen without delay. The Audiologist was very pleasant and efficient. The department is showing it's age and is probably my only critism.

Well done Lister - from a satisfied patient.

Great to hear that our audiology team made you feel so well cared for - we'll make sure that they get to read your kind words. As for the fabric of our buildings at the Lister, we will have invested some £150 million by the end of next year in overhauling many parts of the hospital, as well as in creating our new maternity, A&E, theatres unit and ward blocks.

As for retinal screening, we can't claim success for your experience - this service is provided by Clinicenta Ltd through the Surgicentre building at the Lister, under direct contract to the local clinical commissioning group. So whilst on the Lister hospital site, it is not a service run by us - but nonetheless, we'll make sure your feedback reaches the Clincenta team.
