"My stay in ward F10"

About: Royal Oldham Hospital

Anything else?

I was admitted to hospital on 28th March 2013 with a very bad foot infection and cellulitis. The infection was so bad I could not walk at all or transfer from a chair to the bed. from being picked up from my home by ambulance going through A and E the A.M.U ward and then on to ward F10 where I stayed for 4 weeks, I can not praise the staff from cleaners right up to the top consultants, physio's and discharge staff involved on leaving enough. They could not have looked after me any better had I gone in a private hospital. I was discharged on April 25 th and had to be re admitted again by ambulance due to a severe allergy on April 26th. Again the care in A and E and A.M.U. Was beyond anything any one could expect in an N.H.S. hospital. Luckily I was only kept in for the one night but came home very well sorted regarding meds etc. I only wish I could think of some way to repay all these dedicated people especially the angels on ward F10. I entered this ward As a patient but felt like I had left it as a friend to all these wonderful staff. Royal Oldham Hospital... You are truly amazing... Thank You.
