"Great nurses in the North of Scotland At Aberdeen Infirmary"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Neurology (Brain, Spinal and Nerves)

(as the patient),

Last month I was on ward 40 at Aberdeen Infirmary. Things were not going well. I felt I wasn't being listened to and not given the correct tests. I had got to the point of wanting to discharge myself. However a combination of nurses and other staff persuaded me to stay for the duration, one even giving me a patient opinion card so I could leave feedback.

The nurses are absolute stars. I can't praise them highly enough. They made me laugh saying how daft I would look going home 70 miles on the bus with electrodes glued to my head!

I would also like to praise the cleanliness, not easy in an old building plus the cheerful attitude of the domestic staff. They often get forgotten in the busy bustle of the hospital.

Yes I have my problems but we are so lucky up here in the North of Scotland with the quality of our nurses.
