Please could you put some provision in place so that staff do not get two oncology consultants who have similar sounding surnames easily confused. When my Father was asked by hospital staff which oncology consultant he is under , the doctor he names was a different consultant to who was on his discharge papers. e. g. "Patient's next appointment with Dr Scheele is on..." so it is not simply a case that he is now being referred to a new consultant. Please can you ensure that his does not happen in the future. Thank you.
