"Care for all"

About: Barnet Hospital

Anything else?

I took my husband to the Day Unit for a procedure.I knew that I wasnt well on that day but did not want to alarm him as he was anxious about his treatment. After he was called, while sitting in the waiting room I experienced increase stomach pains and had a sense of faintness. Before I knew what was happening I was transferred to a wheel chair and moved into the recovery unit. The attention I was given was amazing.Staff were compassionate, caring and checked my obs. Once I had recovered satisfactorily I was offered tea, and encouraged to remain on the bed.

My husband had been told that I wasn't well, but as he came from his procedure he was somewhat surprised to find me there waiting for him. Both of us in recovery and both receiving excellent care.

Thank you Barnet Hospital Staff
