My daughter was extremely ill recently and she recovered thanks to the amazing dedication of the doctors and all the staff who treated her in Medical Ward 9. She had scan after scan but they could not find out what was wrong with her. Eventually she was diagnosed as having Addison's Disease - which we had never heard of. She was given so much care that words do not seem enough to thank you. The whole family got a big fright and we are so grateful that she is still with us.

I would particularly like to thank the doctor who followed us around the hospital whilst she was being scanned in order to take 6 blood tests within 90 mins. This was instrumental in her diagnosis of Addison's Disease. I shall never forget him.

Thanks to the professionalism of the doctors and the amazing care she received my daughter was able to return home to look after her 2 small children.
