What I liked

Came in with my sister by ambulance, so immediately got a bed in A&E, nurse came right away and took details. Had to wait 45 minutes to be seen by a doctor, despite being there for a head injury, but once there Doctor was thorough, professional and good, and nurses were also very efficient and very friendly. Area was clean enough.

What could be improved

Then got moved to clinical decisions, where there werent enough pillows for every patient. Pain relief was not given to the patient until she had been there for two hours, even though she was clearly in agony and kept requesting it. Was given a scan and it was decided to move her to Southampton hospital, but doctor did not explain properly what would happen or what was going on, but was clearly rushed off his feet., and the nurses couldnt help either. Generally staff were good, just very busy, although patients immediate needs and queries were often ignored for a long time.
