Anything else?
I arrived at A&E at 12.00am ish with awful pain in my tummy. I was seen immediately and taken straight to the near by ward. Here I was delt with quickly and test were being done, the nurses were nice and patient with me, (I was a little anxious and worked up!) I received brilliant pain relief while I waited for the doctor. A really nice young male doctor saw to me around 2.15am and had an excellent bedside manner, he was sympathetic and explained his diagnosis really well and answered all my worries. His examination was done with care and I felt he took his time with me to get to the bottom of things. Overall I was really pleased with my treatment and feel much better now! The only slight criticism I have is the fact the ward wasn't quite as clean as I would of expected, small blood spots on the floor and bed frame. I appreciate the ward is busy but if I'm ever there again (fingers crossed I'm not) I would hope to see it a little cleaner as I'm sure it usually is.
