I would have liked more information about medication because I like to know about what I’m taking as I don’t really like taking drugs. Overall in terms of what the staff have done well, all of it is good. Everything OK and it was good to be asked for my feedback.

Thank you for this feedback. We have passed your comments to the Consultant and the pharmacist on Balmoral Ward in order to review. They discuss medication with service users in order to provide enough information for service users to make informed choices about their care.

Following a focus group to look at service users’ needs regards medication, the pharmacy team are very keen to begin weekly drop-in clinics to be held in the Restart and Recovery Department enabling all service users the opportunity to discuss any issues regarding their medication on a one-to-one basis.
