I attended Farnborough Ward this week to visit a relative and simply walked straight in. No one bothered to ask why I was there or who I was.

Given that there are a few ill people walking around and the potential for assault or theft surely these Wards should be locked down.

I did mention to a nurse about this but was told the stock answer "We are in the middle of a handover and dont have time". Well you need to make time PRUH. I for one dont ever want to be admitted to what appears to be a hostital that has little respect for it patients security let alone anything else.

i have a number of stories about the lack of care and concern in the PRUH. Howeer what choice do we have?

I know there are good people there but I have yet to meet them.

personlly i think it should be closed as it is and passed to a private company to manage. Hoepfully we will then get value for money coz right now..its a waste of good green belt..
