My 4 year old son's admission to ward GNCH.-DL 08/04/2013 due to a bacterial infection.

Ethans condition was fully investigated at all levels and all information was explained in full. His condition was explained and the best course of action was detailed in a plan.

His stay and his mother's was made comfortable by the attentive staff and fantastic facilities.

The professionalism and respect of the staff was second to none. Our fears and anxiety were further quashed by a simple phone call direct to the ward giving us direction and comfort.

May I thank you on behalf of our staff at the Great North Children’s Hospital for your positive comments about the care that Ethan and his mother received during his recent admission. We shall ensure that these comments are passed onto the staff on Ward 6. Our staff strive to place the needs of children and their families at the centre of what they do and it is always motivating for them hear such news.
