"Staffing on Mayflower Ward"

About: Broomfield Hospital / Plastic surgery

(as the patient),

Only two nurses were working on the ward... stress levels were very high. Consequently I did not feel safe. If a disaster was going to happen you can bet it would be on that day.

I will not contact you to discuss this matter. You know about it and you should sort this out before it's too late.

A worried patient.

Thank you for taking the time to post. I have spoken with the Ward Manager whom apologises that you did not feel safe whilst on the ward and that staff appeared stressed. Without knowing the date that you were with us I cannot investigate the staffing levels on the ward. We really appreciate all feedback on our services good and bad as without it we cannot praise and share good practice or make improvements where needed.
