"Telephone problems again........"

The staff at Pontefract have all been fantastic, and I can not fault them, but the telephone contact service is a nightmare. The main contact number is terribly hard to get through to. I was trying all day yesterday and couldn't even get someone to answer the phone. I tried the individual dept number, shown on the web site and after repeated calls did finally get through, only to be put on hold and then cut off......

My query is quite urgent, so I now, have had to enlist my gp, (taking up a emergancy appointment at his surgery) to try to get the information which I need from my doctor at the hospital.

Where as a simple phone call would have sufficed.
