"Maternity care"

Anything else?

I had my daughter in October last year. I arrived in the early hours of the morning, I was seen swiftly and advised of procedures that would take place. My daughter was born 3 hours later. The midwife had to go off shift 15 minutes after the birth but made sure I was happy with the handover of staff before she left. We were taken to a ward less than two hours after the birth and made to feel very comfortable and free to receive visitors. The staff were approachable and if busy explained they would get to us soon and they always did. I didn't stay overnight and was discharged in the evening. I can honestly say this was one of the best days of my life and that the hospital and the staff made it so. This is my second child, my first was born else where and this time was a greater experience. Thank you.
