"Worsening waiting times for eye clinic"

I have been receiving treatment for glaucoma and other eye problems at this hospital for well over ten years.

In the past few years it has become increasingly difficult to get a consultation in the clinic. At my last consultation I was told I would be seen again in January 2013. I was not called for an appointment so telephoned them in late February only to be told the clinic was closed for three months. I telephoned again in mid April and this time was told they were fully booked until end June and that I hadn't been forgotten but they couldn't give me an appointment at this time.

This is simply not good enough. My eye pressures are not being controlled and my eyesight is deteriorating - my medication is not working. Why will no one see me?
