"Insufficient care given to my mother"

About: King's Mill Hospital / Gynaecology

(as a relative),

I was disgusted with the care given to my Mother on this ward. The staff just stand around talking about their social lives and i felt treat both the patient and relatives with contempt.

I can only assume the Modern Matron on this ward is not in control of her staff as if she was, such poor nursing standards would have been dealt with and the staff would have been retrained in professional patient care
