"Quite a long time from GP to getting appointment"

About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

Overall experience good. Quite a long time from GP to getting appointment by which time I wasn't aware (forgotten) how the appointment was to be made. When the TRAQS team rang didn't really associate the name as Hospital bookings service and almost thought it was a cold caller for windows or doors.

Bit of a mix up of who to ring to rearrange appointment because I missed the initial appointment but got it sorted and now getting treatment which is fab. Thanks.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you were not aware TRAQS would be contscting you. We have provided all GP practice with a supply of patient leaflets which should be handed to all patients being referred viaTRAQS. The leaflets explain the process of referral using the TRAQS service and avoid any confusion such as you experienced.

However, I am relieved to hear that you are now receiving treatment and hope all goes well. Thank you again for taking the time to respond to our request for feedback.
