My daughter is a student in Glasgow and had an accident/injury to her right hand and attended A & E in August 2012.
The nurse looking after her in A & E was very good and understanding as my daughter was in a state of shock. She returned to the hospital the next day for an operation on her hand which was delayed until the day after however she was very well looked after and informed of the delays and the reasons for them.
Since then my daughter has had regular physiotherapy appointments at the Royal and has had excellent service from them. She has always been made to feel welcome.
In March this year she underwent another unplanned emergency operation associated with the first injury and again received excellent service from all involved; the physiotherapists, surgeons, theatre staff, porters, nurses, student nurses, anaesthetists and auxilliarys.
