"Depression"

About: Llanedeyrn Health Centre Pentwyn Health Centre

(as the patient),

I have been battling depression for 20 years. I have attended lots of self help groups. Had CBT. But still have really depressive periods and suicidal thoughts. I left Cyncoed Health Centre as I felt I wasn't getting anywhere. I have recently joined the llanedyn Heath Centre. Have been six times in the past few months due to having to take time off work as I was so low.

In December 2012 I visited my GP as I was having persistent suicidal thoughts. The GP I saw wrote to Pentwyn Mental Health team and told me I would be seen as an emergency.

A month later no letter, went back to my GP still severely depressed. To be told Pentwyn Mental Health Centre felt I didn't need to be seen. I was distraught. I feel I have been mistreated in a time of desperation to be told that. I want to make a complaint but don't know where to start.

I would be most gratefull if you could give me some advice on what to do next.
