"Impressive 111 service"

About: Harmoni / NHS 111

(as the patient),

I had surgery at the end of February for a gall bladder removal, the operation was good and went well, it was done via keyhole and a couple of days later I went home.

After arriving home I was suffering with terrible diarrhoea worried my cousin called 111, we were put in contact with a very nice lady who asked many questions to help diagnose. She then came to the conclusion that I would need a doctor. I felt reassured that somebody was coming to see me.

As it was a saturday afternoon I didn't expect anybody to arrive quickly, however a doctor arrived within the hour, very nice young man; very polite. The doctor examined me and thought it could be the antibiotics causing me problems. He recommended giving it a couple of days and it would clear up; he was right.

It all worked out very well. I was very impressed with the service which was provided and the doctor who came to see me. He took the worry away from my mind. What a fantastic service a huge thank you to everyone involved in helping me.
