"Recent visit to Minor Injuries"

About: Queen Elizabeth I I Hospital (Welwyn Garden City)

Anything else?

Two weeks ago I was taken to the Minor Injuries unit at about 8.30pm with a suspected broken ankle. I saw a triage nurse had it x rayed and then saw a nurse practitioner and was out within three quarters of an hour - extremely impressive. All the staff I saw were extremely courteous and gentle. I felt proud of the NHS!

Whilst we know that services at the QEII are changing, this is a great example of what will continued to be provided in the New QEII Hospital on which work is about to start so that it is ready to treat its first patients during 2015. But your story is an excellent example of the great care provided by the current A&E team, so many thanks for sharing your feedback - we know that the team will be delighted to read your kind words.
