What could be improved
Have been taking elderly neighbour 85 miles e/w to Bristol Eye Hospital regularly over past 4 years. Medical care is doubtless excellent, but no change in the apalling lack of organisation, or staff attitude towards it. Medical staff appear to work hindered by, not helped by the 'system'. Hard to see how could be orgnised worse if deliberate! Contempt for Customers!
Why do nursing staff sit around pushing files all morning - watched as one made 4hr job from patient list and highlight pen! Tasks for office junior, not qualified nurses! Meanwhile patients overlooked (!) or timely pre examination preparation (drops etc) forgotten.
Why is Health Dept not isisting on ISO9000/BS5750 for what taxpayers money is buying?
