Anything else?
My husband had to come for a Prostate biopsy yesterday and while the general surroundings were very good we both felt that it was far to hot which is a waste of heat and we weren't the only ones. All of the lights were on despite the dome which lets in plenty of light, my husband and the other men in their waiting room were also far to hot and in the biopsy room. There were no magazines or free drinking water and the drinks machine didn't say the price of what was available, my husband had to wait an hour after taking an antibiotic tablet and we both felt didn't need to be in his dressing gown or restricted to the mens only room. I would have liked to have been able to wait with him and we would have liked to have been able to go outside for some fresh air, we were also very glad we arrived early as the que's and waitng for a car space was as long as 1/2 hour for later arrivals, he would have missed his appointment had we arrived later. Perhaps there should be a separate car park for visitors than those attending appointments, we had no choice but to drive as we live to far for a taxi. I found it very stressfull not being able to wait with him at least untill he went in for the biopsy, its frightening enough without having the comfort of a close relative, he has said he'd never have another there and couldn't wait to get outside.
