I attended a pre op assessment. My concerns about side effects from some painkillers I had taken before where completely ignored and this caused me very serious problems when I was discharged. I did not recognize the pills which had a different name before.

Post op- I was discharged after a few days, Staff knew I had very long journey ahead and knew I could not be collected without at least 2 hours notice but I was still wheeled in a chair to the front main entrance and left alone without the ability to fend for myself, I was very affected by surgery, a week in bed and heavy medication. Really upsetting
